I loved watching the hair fall to the floor today. It was like a weight was lifted from me. The stylist said I looked younger. I felt younger. Why did I have that horrible, long, boring hair for so long? I mean it is just hair, right? Now, I am not so sure. It was something more. Some weird lack of love for myself. But, let me tell you, no more.
Still now...hours later...after taking a nap with my babe, playing some pretty awesome guitar rock, and running my hand through it a million times...it still feels so good.

And you LOOK good too! I think haircuts are one of the powerful ways to feel lighter, sexier, bolder, more empowered.
You go!!
Now, I need a cut.

Looking good! It's the grown-up sexy version of your hair when you were a kid. I think women hang on to the long hair for several reasons: they like to be able to pull it back; it seems easier (but easier is often boring); fear from bad haircuts from years past (especially the bad short cuts); shorter hair requires regular haircuts to keep them looking good and that can be expensive.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! I LOVE IT! Seems like everyone is going shorter these days and being a momma, I think it's easier. With just Louise at home, I will finally have time this week to get around to getting it cut and am thinking about going a lot shorter too.
Can't wait to see it in person!
