Did I say mid-April? Well, yeah, still not there yet.
But, I can't stay quiet for the moment. Last night 53% of the people of France chose Nicolas Sarkozy as their president. I couldn't vote and, like her, I am definitely going to make sure that I am there with everyone else the next time around.
I don't want to be too pessimistic but honestly, I am scared. I'm not scared of Sarkozy but I am scared of our society and the strong influence that we are under. We are being controlled and manipulated in such subtle and not-so-subtle ways; and we just sit back and let it happen.
Here is Noam Chomsky, in 1971, laying it all out of for us. We do not have to be tools, "cogs in the machine", brainwashed by entities that spend millions and millions of dollars a year to figure out how to control us. Again, Noam Chomsky reflects upon this during this more recent interview. I want to throw lots of quotes up here but I think you should just listen.
