I am swamped with WIPs. It is a bit ridiculous. So, I am jumping on the Finish What You Have bandwagon so I can plug through a few projects before casting on for new ones. This is very difficult because there are a few projects that I really really really want to start right now. But....no....instead I pulled this one out of the basket:
I started this before Felix was born but because it is size 2-3 years I didn't feel too pressed to finish it. But it would be nice to get it out of my basket and it's blue. It seemed like a good place to start especially with warmer weather - the Rowan Handknit Cotton is pleasant to work with and it is a good change from the Wool Cotton I have been using.
June 10th is World Wide Knit in Public Day - my knitty friends and I are gathering in a lovely park in Paris. Would you like to join us? Please leave a comment or drop me an e-mail and we will let you know further details! Happy Knitting!

I've made that particular sweater twice - it's a great pattern! I love the neck. The recipients have both liked the sweater a lot. I hope little Felix will feel the same way. What a wonderful color!

Well, everyone has used the good adjectives for the sweater! It is a terrific pattern, and you chose a beautiful color. I know Felix will be a knock-out in it!
How were the muffins?

That's a superb sweater- I know Felix is going to love it. Good for you for finishing something up that doesn't have a deadline- I seem to be terrible at that.

Envy! I always wanted to knit that sweater for my son, but I never got around to it. Now he's four and I'm not even sure the sweater goes up to that size--I doubt it. Such a wonderful pattern.
